It was stated in my previous journal entry that I was chosen to represent our school in the Poster Making Contest (using any graphical application) in the National Computer Competition to be held on September 6, 2009 at the Jose Rizal University Gymnasium.

And here I am, just got home from JRU...

Believe it or not, I won 1st Place!!! I can't believe it myself! I did a very horrible work with my layers scattered all over and a lot of obvious mistakes (at least they're obvious for me) Plus, I got irritated because it was VERY (I am emphasizing this, VERY VERY) hot inside!!! No one could possibly concentrate with an environment like that! So I got dizzy dizzy dizzy and messed up my work with brush strokes all over it (I didn't have anything better to do that time) And that's it... my story.

The other representatives for the other categories such as animation and quiz bee didn't win but I'm proud of their work! Dindi, Jake and Jeano's work was awesome XD I will never forget that cute tree-planting koala (That was supposed to be a bear XD)

And... I saw a green butterfly at the veranda so I took a picture of it using our I.T. adviser's camera (I wasn't able to bring a cam aww...)

*sigh* So that was it! I'm going to upload it at my gallery ASAP. Excuse me for the mistakes and the horrible drawing. That was on-the-spot, no scanned linearts etc. so I made use of a Manually Operated User Selection Equipment (MOUSE) to draw my character and a Wacom tablet. I wasn't able to use the tablet though. It was my first time to use a tablet. I thought it was as easy as drawing with pen and paper but it's not.

Anyway, I'm still happy LOL
